A great base, especially for 1st time visitors to Feuteventura. Id say a week is enough.
Rocky beautiful landscape. Both sandy, mainly man made beaches and ruggered nature.
Can walk along coastly path past harbour, few coves, stop for coffees or drinks with amazing views out to sea. Watch surfers or admire coastline of Lobos and Lanzarote. Continue through desert to Dunes. Beautiful....
Rustic mixed with modern. Lots great eateries. Easy to get a bus to other resorts, and cheap too.
Walk to "popcorn" beach in other direction... not in flip flops!

Something for everyone.
Something for everyone. Fabulous coastline (sandy and volcanic beaches, view over to Lobos island and Lanzarote. Whole range of eateries, plenty of shops, bars. Good transport options with regular bus services and taxis at reasonable prices. So much more than we expected.

All the places we visited the staff seem very friendly, there were lots of nice looking beaches, restaurants and a lively fill to the area at night but not over the top.
Unfortunately when the tide went out the smell was like that of a sewage farm on the 2 beaches we tried and other told us it was the same on the other beaches, most of the locals do not clean up after their dogs so there was dog poo everywhere when walking around and the electric scooters were so dangerous they go at high speed on the areas just meant for pedestrians, how no one has not been hurt by one of these is amazing.
We definitely won’t go back to this area, which is a shame.

In our opinion, provably tge vest resort on the Island. Loads of character in old town area, nice promenade walk, good shops and restaurants. Clean local beaches. We stayed 2 weeks and travelled all around island by hire car...arguably the best place to stay. We'd stay there again.

Flat to walk around, and compact. Family friendly.
Flat to walk around, and compact. Family friendly. Fabulous views, friendly people lots of great bars restaurants and beautiful views. Felt safe here. There's quite a few supermarkets. There's a fun land train, and ferry to Lanzarote. Fav place to eat for atmosphere varied menu great staff was Pescador on the music square. There's live music here in the square, lovely friendly atmosphere. A mixture of age groups, a lot of older people feel safe here, but there's lots of younger people, but not lots of huge parties of people getting drunk etc. feels very towards families, it's fun on an evening

The beauty of Corralejo is that it has a little of everything. Both coasts are easily accessible, on the windward side you have limited beaches but big waves for surfing etc yet on the other you have the sand dunes and incredible beaches with calmer blue sea. The town has and old town and harbour/marina with Restaurants and bars. The newer main street has up market shops and endless restaurants, cafes and shops of every kind. So if you want to go Ocean fishing, glass bottom boats, day trips to a nearby Island, surfing, cycling, shopping, eating, drinking or just lazing in the sun it's all there.

The Avanti is a beautiful beach front hotel. We had a lovely welcome from Natalie who was so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with many gorgeous little touches, very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the roof top terrace and enjoyed the hot tub there. Great location too on the beach and lots of restaurants and bars all around.
The staff who didn't work on reception were excellent and made us feel at home. Samba and Amadou receive special thanks from us, also the two personal trainers at the gym (I can't remember their names).
We liked that we were allowed to leave our all inclusive bands for food and drink till we left the hotel on our departure day.
Hi guys .
Was the first time for us in fuerteventura and to this hotel.

the staff were fabulous nothing was to much trouble, by far the best place I’ve stayed in corralejo the only down was that I didn’t know before hand that it was an all inclusive which I would have loved to have had .
