Dug in the mountains, it is during the Arab conquests in the south of Spain, that the style "Al-Andalus" left its borrowings on the Spanish lands. A rudimentary habitat construction technique that involved digging into the soft layers between two harder layers. This ensured its robustness and benefited from thermal and acoustic insulation that made it its reputation. It is therefore a renovated house, a style both modern and rustic. La Solea will make you discover an environment arranged as formerly when only wood and iron were used for the realization of furniture and beds. Built near rich archaeological deposits of international reputation ("El hombre de Orce"). The bike trips, the hikes will allow you to discover the traces of vestiges of this era shaken by the Arab invasions. Discover the "Torre del Salar", "Torre de la Umbria". Enjoy unusual swimming with fish in "Fuencaliente". Go relax at "Zujar". Visit the Alhambra Arab Garden" in Granada and make a detour to swim in the warm sea of Andalusia...
Of Andalusian origin, it is always that we know this atypical habitat. Certainly, in the past, comfort was not the same as what we are proposing today. At this poque, when we looked forward to the holidays to see the family again, to play with the "amigos del pueblo" and enjoy every moment. The village festivals, bike rides, the game of "la escondite" or "bote-botella", excursions to Granada to see the Alhambra, the sea, or even to Guadix to visit its cathedral, its market. So many places and memories that marked our youth. And it is of course that we have chosen to settle in this part of Spain. We want to offer you a memorable performance, and we are working to ensure that you also get to know the well-being that has made the reputation of southern Spain.
Orce is one of the 6 villages that make up the canton of Huescar. (Huescar, Castillejar, Castril, Galera, Orce, Puebla de Don Fabrique). Called the "cradle of humanity" due to recent archaeological discoveries, it is a village rich in festivals and traditions. An environment marked by its contrasts, large arid plains, green valleys, many springs that had to be learned to exploit. A wealth that also passes by the savoir-vivre of its inhabitants. A village where you enjoy "hanging out" at night, letting the children go for a walk. Its swimming pool "Fuencaliente" will allow you to refresh yourself in the company of many fish that decorate it. Its brand new museum "primeros pobladores de Europa", its palace "palacio de los seguros", its castle "Alcazaba de las 7 torres", its excursions "Torre de la humbria", "Torre del salar", its interpretation center "virgen de la cabeza". So many places to visit or activities to practice.
