Casa Caballito de Mar has incredible, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. The front yard is steps from a beautiful, unspoiled beach. It is a tiny house with a big soul, like a seahorse! The third floor terrace where the hammocks swing in the wind has a BBQ and plenty of space for hanging out. The balcony on the second floor is a favorite place to have coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. Your biggest decision each day is from which of these spaces you will watch the sunset over the Pacific!
Born and raised in San Jacinto, Lenin is an expert host who knows how to make your visit special with recommendations for activities in the area. He is friendly and helpful...and very dependable.
The charm of Casa Caballito de Mar is the proximity to one of the most beautiful coastal ecosystems in the world. The property is located between the beautiful beach of the Pacific Ocean and the protected mangroves of the Portoviejo River. Casa Caballito de Mar is located on a section of beach about two kilometers (20-minute walk) south of downtown San Jacinto, a fishing village north of "la Boca," the point where the Portoviejo River flows into the sea.
