Übrigens: Der Name Upstalsboom kommt aus dem Altfriesischen. Er bezeichnet eine historische Versammlungsstätte aus der Zeit der Friesischen Freiheit, nämlich den Baum (Boom), an dem seinerzeit die Pferde aufgestallt (upstallt) wurden, wenn die Abgesandten der Sieben Seelande zum Rat und zum Feiern zusammenkamen. So wurde in der Gemeinschaft neue Kraft geschöpft. Und so halten wir es bis heute … Ihr Upstalsboom-Team freut sich auf Sie!
