Towels must be brought along. Carpin is a village between the residential town of Neustrelitz and the town of Woldegk in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District, directly on the B198. There are many lakes around the village with beautiful bathing spots and good fishing opportunities. Carpin is the gateway to the Müritz National Park. Guided tours and hikes are possible there. There is also a restaurant in the village (open seasonally), Neustrelitz is around 12 kilometers away and the spa town of Feldberg is around 14 kilometers away. There are numerous boat and bike rentals there. In Neustrelitz you can experience culture and architecture with the historic castle park, the Louisentempel, the castle church or the newly designed market square. There are numerous shopping opportunities and restaurants in both towns.
