Es war einmal ein Dorf auf einer schönen Insel, die im blauen Meer lag. In diesem Dorf stand ein schönes Haus, welches Kornmühle genannt wurde. Die Kornmühle hatte 2 Ferienwohnungen. Die Ferienwohnungen wurden Amalia und Gabi genannt. Gabi verfügte über 35m² Wohnraum. Aufgeteilt in Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett, welches auch getrennt werden kann und ein Einzelbett. Eine Wohnstube mit TV, Küche, Bad mit Dusche und 5G Internet. Ein Märchen? NEIN!! Überzeugen sie sich wir freuen uns auf sie.
Fußläufig zur Kornmühle befindet sich das Wirtshaus alte Schmiede. Etwa 300m von der Kornmühle entfernt gibt es einen Landmarkt mit regionalen Produkten und allem was man für den entspannten Urlaub braucht. Die Ortschaft Mellenthin liegt idyllisch im Mittelpunkt der Insel Usedom, direkt am Radweg und nur etwa 7 km vom Ostseestrand in Ückeritz entfernt. Badestellen findet man auch im 3 km entfernten Balm oder Neppermin. Ein Ausflug nach Ahlbeck führt sie in 20 Minuten zu den Kaiserbädern. Hier glänzt die längste Strandpromenade in historischer Pracht. Der nächstgelegene Bahnhof (Schmollensee) liegt 5km von Mellenthin entfernt. Dort fährt die Bäderbahn sie in 7min in die Kaiserbäder oder in 15min nach Koserow ( Karls Erlebnisdorf) bzw. 25 min nach Zinnowitz. Der Bus 284 fährt sie von Mo-Fr. in 40 min in die Kaiserbäder ( bitte Busfahrplan beachten).
