We want you to know exactly what you are to expect. The main advantage of the house, set in peaceful surroundings, is its perfect suitability for large families or groups. Here you can be based together all under one roof and enjoy your precious days of holiday together. The large dining table can be pulled out to provide ample space for up to 10 people. You can also sit in the garden together or gather around the open-air barbecue. The holiday house has 3 toilets in total. The house is situated some 20 minutes from Lake Constance. Should one wish to rent a holiday home directly on the lake then this could prove disadvantageous. We view our location as a positive feature: in just 20 minutes you will be at the lake to enjoy its beauty for the whole day. The evenings can then be spent 'at home', away from the hectic, able to enjoy the delights of the large garden and the peacefulness of the surroundings. Price is also a very large deciding factor. Properties directly on the lake tend to be much dearer than those situated a little further away. This can be the deal breaker for larger families or groups.
The largest forested region in the area is immediately adjacent to the Stockfeld "Holiday Village". The Linzgau marine park has plenty of fun for the whole family including Germany's craziest adventure golf course, playgrounds, water park, swimming beach and is only a few minutes from the town of Pfullendorf. The friendly community of Herdwangen-Schönach is situated in the beautiful hinterland of Lake Constance, in the Upper Linzgau area between Pfullendorf and Bodman-Ludwigshafen. Several towns and tranquil villages with a total of 3,100 inhabitants surround this Baden-Württemberg town area, which is in the vicinity of the majestic Lake Constance and the Upper Danube Nature Park. Herdwangen-Schönach an idyllic holiday destination tucked in the hills of the border triangle between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Cozy carriage rides as well as relaxing walks, rollerblading, horseback riding, tennis, forest walks and a variety of tours await you in this delightful part of Germany. Attractive and well-maintained hiking and bike trails crisscross the quaint municipality of Herdwangen-Schönach.
