Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a German ski resort in Bavaria. The town consists of two places that were united in 1935. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a well-known destination for skiers, ice skaters and hikers. The town is located near the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany at 2,962 meters. The summit can be reached by the Zugspitzbahn and a cable car. Garmisch is considered a more elegant part of town, Partenkirchen with its cobblestone streets exudes a traditional Bavarian ambience. You can expect an apartment with bedroom, kitchen-living room and bathroom.
