The Serrahn beech forests, a World Heritage Site, are in the immediate vicinity, and the wooded and lake-rich surroundings invite you to go on extended tours on foot, by bike or on the water. A beautiful swimming area at Dolgener See is approx. 4 km away. In the village itself there is a riding stable with a petting zoo, horse riding and carriage rides, a beautiful children's playground and a snack garden. Shopping facilities, cafés and restaurants can be found in the Kneipp spa resort of Feldberg, approx. 12 km away. In addition to the Kneipp spa park, there is also a passenger boat trip, beautiful beaches and a wide range of water sports.
