Excellent public transport to the centre and airport: Bus stop in front of house. 2 stops by bus to metro line B, then 3 metro stops to river or 5 metro stops to downtown area and historical centre. You can also walk to the metro (500m) in a few minutes. The bus also goes directly to the Castle and Petrin district (funicular, 'Eiffel Tower', Strahov Monastery, panoramic views). Airport transport is simple by public transport in just over half an hour. Ask for advice. Easy access for Pilsen motorway, Prague ring, city road tunnels. Ask for advice for the best route from your direction. Galerie Butovice shopping centre (mall) nearby with good food options, including vegan. Local shop and restaurant down the street. Other facilities include children's playgrounds, parks, Vidoule hill and Cibulka parks, fish ponds. Near to Prokop Valley Nature Park with forests, rocks and panoramas of Prague, ideal for biking, skating, hiking, dog walking etc. Prague 5 includes Smichov (3 metro stops) with Bertramka chateau where Mozart stayed (now museum) and Karel Gott had his villa and various historical sites, the funicular up the Petrin Hill, the river bank and river islands, 2 large shopping centres and typical Czech pubs. It is a short tram ride from the Lesser Town and Charles Bridge.
