When vacationing to Costa Rica, we found this little community in Paquera, to be a hidden gem off the beaten path! We're NOT beachfront property but our place compensates by having the most strategic LOCATION: Bus Stop right across the street, we're close to ferry, within walking distance to town, nearby all the different beaches, Curu Reserve & other hipster towns. We tried to conserve it as much as possible to a typical Tico home with some conveniences like true AC (not floor or ceiling fans), Hot Water ONLY IN SHOWER, Cable TV, Housekeeping mid-week, Body Soap & Shampoo, clean Linen & Towels, WiFi at Office. If familiar with the area rare "budget" accommodations offer Hot Water and AC, unless you pay a lot more by staying at a standard hotel. Also included is ALL amenities next door at Mapi's Cabins: SMALL Waterfall Pool , BBQ Area has 2 gas burners, sink and picnic tables, along with hummingbird hand feed by request is unique. Because Restaurant is next to you when in operation, you may be subject to occasional late-night entertainment & noise. Beware of the Noni Fruit, known for its medicinal properties, SMELLS, if fallen and opened, call us to clean it up right away!

We love nature, fishing and the beach, we feel this area has it all when it comes to nature at its best leaving behind the fast pace fast food chains, smog and malls which you won't find any of that there! You're welcome to stroll around the entire property and help yourself to any of the organic seasonal fruits on your own risk like: mangoes, guava, bananas, noni, papayas, sugar cane, coconuts, soursop/guanavana and hopefully avocados one day! Though we're NOT a high end or attention to detail home, we try to meet budget expectations keeping it simple & basic as to pass on the savings to our guests. Our only regret is not being able to stay to enjoy greeting and meeting guests from all over the world but it's our hope we were able to share with you and for you to take back home, what we truly feel is the "Pura Vida" of Costa Rica that this little town inspires!
