the hotel is positioned very close to one of the national Park gates, you could walk there in 10 minutes but the staff is very kind and always offer a ride both ways. The room was nice and clean with an amazing view on the mountains of the park. Nearby there are a few really good Chinese restaurants at walking distance and few more houses. Therefore, the atmosphere is very silent and you get to enjoy the mountain quiteness. The staff was really kind and gave us plenty of tips for trails and in booking tickets. they also helped us a lot during an emergency for which we had to go to the hospital. Overall, I greatly recommend this place.

Walking distance to the park entrance. They also have a great pool, but it was not yet open when I was there at the end of March.

The staff here were absolutely amazing - so friendly and helpful, they drove me to the park entrance several times and helped me get the local bus and even offered to drive me to the station when I struggled to get a taxi. They also let me try the local tea and honey and were always available on WeChat to answer my questions. The location of this place is great for visiting Zhangjiajie forest park, and it's not too far from other sights (Tianmen mountain, for example) too - taxis are cheap. It's very quiet and located in a beautiful little village. The absolute best part was the bathtub on the balcony - perfect for a relaxing dip after a lot of walking, while looking at the mountains! Breakfast is great too - so much food! You definitely won't go hungry! My room was huge, and bathroom had lots of toiletries which was appreciated.

This resort is close (about a 5min drive) to the Middle Entrance (ZiMuGang entrance) of the park. It is less crowded than other entrances and so is ideal for those who do not like to jostle with the crowd. Navigation within the park is not difficult as there is an internal shuttle bus from the Middle Entrance. Our host, Tim, was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. He provided us with a map of the park and gave us detailed guidance on how we could visit our various places of interest within ZhangJiaJie. He also volunteered to drive us to and pick us up from the Middle and Northern park entrances, and arranged to have our breakfast prepared earlier when we had to leave early. We also noticed that the sofa bed in our suite had been replaced with a double bed to accommodate our family. We appreciate the gesture.

The hotel is perfect to explore Zhangjiajie National Park / Heavenly Pillars. Facilities are great. The highlight of the stay are the amazing hosts. They are super kind and helpful! They helped us to find the best hiking routes, must see locations, and booked tickets and transport for us. And we had a lot of fun. We can highly recommend this place to anyone who comes here.

Stunning views from the balcony, cheap for what you get! The bath outside got a little dirty (expected with rural location) and they were quick to clean it. Staff were very friendly, Tim guided us through how to make the most of our trip and organised taxis for us. They had a card reader for paying which worked well, this is the only hotel on our stay in china where they offered this service. Pool table and large large lobby. Rooms were huge too.
