The hotel is quiet and charming, set slightly above the main part of the town but still a short walk to the art museum and the Grossmunster. The room I asked for had a sloping ceiling, which we had to be careful about, but it was comfortable and full of character. The staff were lovely.

Unbeatable location, great & friendly staff, rich breakfast, and what took us pleasantly by surprise is that they give out free tickets to the Zoo & art museum! Room was spacious & very clean, too!

The staff are very helpful and very welcoming. You can’t say much about the price because it is Zurich costs but I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay when they go. The food for dinner was delicious and both the hotel staff and kitchen staff helped me out one evening where I came back from an excursion late which lasted the whole day, they allowed me to eat before the chef’s began to close the kitchen which was really nice of them. Breakfast food is a selection of fruits, cereal, cheeses, breads, etc. Location was good, mostly everywhere you need to go is accessible by foot anyway but there is the trams you can use etc.

It's one of those hotels where everything works and nothing seems broken, and the older I get the more I appreciate the effort that goes into this. The room was spotless. Furnished in modern minimalist style, neutral but pleasantly colourful details (but no bright orange or kermit green 'accents', phew!). Good sized windows with plenty of natural light. Comfortable bed with sufficient bedside plugs available, and more plugs by desk and elsewhere in the room. Sufficient shelf space in bathroom for toiletries without having to stack things. Central location, a short stroll downhill (or maybe some stairs) to the old town of Zurich. Convenient for Zurich central railway station and the main business and shopping areas. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with self-service coffee machine that could make a cappuccino if that's what you wanted.
