If luxury lodging, golf and natural beauty are your cup of tea, then, the Gables of PEI is just the ticket. Our handsome haven tucked in Stanley Bridge – and adjacent to Andersons Creek Golf Club – is ideal to soak up the Island way of life, whether on vacation or to enjoy the residential community. There’s no rush hour, only friendly “hellos” as you stroll the manicured grounds. If you are on vacation and just want all the conveniences of home while enjoying a resort lifestyle, the Gables has it all. There’s a large heated saltwater pool, tennis and basketball courts and fitness centre at the Pool House. For seafood lovers that want to eat like a local, jaunt down to the nearby wharf for a freshly caught lobster. The Upper Deck Lounge is great for lobster boils with family and friends, especially when it begins to fall dark and a spectacular show of stars pepper the clear inky sky – like nothing you have seen before.

For many long-term residents it’s the warm Prince Edward Island welcome found in this small community that’s prime motivation for choosing the Gables of PEI. Families love that children have the freedom to be independent. Retirees enjoy the reassurance of living in a safe and peaceful environment that’s located in the heart of the Island, Stanley Bridge. Golf enthusiasts are within walking range to Andersons Creek Golf Club, a championship course in the most beautiful pastoral setting. During the summer and for six nights a week, there are cheerful ceilidhs that take place at the front entrance of the resort. Ceilidhs are a great way to celebrate the rich culture of the Island, as well as reel in new friends, but it’s best to arrive early for these shows that sell out nightly! Doors open at 7 p.m. and the live music kicks-off at 7:30 p.m. Only minutes from this beautiful retreat are restaurants that serve bountiful fresh PEI seafood and produce, as well as postcard-worthy seascapes as far as the eye can see such as Cavendish Beach, famous for its red sandstone cliffs. There are plenty of day tours and packages to choose from when it comes to discovering Canada’s smallest province. Visit historic downtown Charlottetown, explore Anne of Green Gables in Cavendish or go down a lesser-known red dirt road and experience the rich heritage and colourful culture the Island has to offer. You can even take your adventure or special event to new heights and soar on a scenic helicopter tour.
