KA BRU River is located on the outskirts of the town of Itacaré, in the south of the State of Bahia. It is situated in the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlantîca), a protected UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. KA BRU River blends seamlessly into its paradisiacal surroundings. This hideaway is built on an elevated platform to create a palpable sense of 360 degrees of openness. From the stunning panoramic views of the Rio de Contas and the Atlantic Ocean to its architectural principles, everything about KA BRU River is based upon harmonious co-existence with the lush tropical forest environment.
Daniela Karagi has been in charge of the design and the renovation of KA BRU River Tropical Panorama Villa. Since it’s opening in 2014, Daniela is managing KA BRU River for any bookings or guest related services and questions. She is making sure that your stay will be an unforgettable one!
The Hideaway is near to the secluded, paradisiacal beaches of fishing village and surf mecca Itacaré (12km by car, 5 min. by bike and 2 min. by taxi-boat, directly from the own house pier). The Hideaway consists of an open-front living space with kitchen, panoramic terrace hangout, an open living platform, a master bedroom and a guest room – both equipped with walk-in closet spaces and generous bathing areas. A swimming pool with an ensuite sunbathing platform is perfectly integrated into the wonderful landscape. The furnishings are a mix of contemporary classics and pieces produced by local carpenters from the Itacaré region. KA BRU River is fully equipped and ready to offer its guests a unique experience. The variety of fruits and berries produced on the estate (pineapple, coconuts, jackfruit, acerola, mangos, banana, not to mention 400 cocoa trees) makes KA BRU River almost self-sufficient.
