Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania. We offer a diverse range of accommodation ranging from 'Blue Wren Cottage', nestled among the trees to villas with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximise your exposure to nature and silence. All the accommodation is self-contained. The property shares a 3 kilometre frontage with Georges Bay conservation area, a further two frontages are shared with the George River and the waterway of Grannies Gut, so bring your kayak. There are three short walks on the property where you can spot some of the 43 species of bird living/nesting here, Take the 10 minute one way walk to our private bird hide.
