Our wonderful farmhouse dates from 1693 and was fully renovated in 2007. Of course, the work continues! It retains much of its oldworld charm whilst having the luxury of modern fittings and appliances. There are 2 holiday apartments within the property. The well kept garden surrounds the house and sits there also, a protected Sycamore tree that is also over 300 years old! The setting is peaceful , next to the Turracher river and Steam Train line which runs at weekends, in summer only. Shopping and 4 great ski areas are only minutes away! Well behaved, quiet, friendly dogs can stay. Max 2 dogs! Please note that all but 3 single beds have a 'footboard'. We were recently awarded the 'UK Travel and Hospitality Award 2018', for 'Character Apartments'; Austria - Salzburg.
We are an English couple who moved to Austia in 2010, for a quieter and more civilised lifestyle. We also live in the farmhouse, so are available 24 hours is required. We have a grown up son in England still. In and around the house we have 2 cats.
Lungau is a paradise yet to be discovered by the masses!
