Large French-style apartment in the heart of Buenos Aires (Microcentro, San Nicolás). Located a few meters from the Obelisk, the Colón Theater and Corrientes Street, it has easy access to all means of transport. It is quiet and very bright, with sun all year round (open view with northeast orientation on an eighth floor). It consists of three main rooms (master bedroom, bedroom-desk and living room) with kitchen-dining room (50 m2 total), in an old building with manager. The apartment has just been furnished, so that most of the furniture is brand new. In the living room: large armchair, coffee table and cable TV. In the master bedroom: double bed, night tables with nightstands and large closet. In the bedroom-desk: single bed, desk and library. In the kitchen-dining room: table, electric oven, microwave. IMPORTANT: the rental cost is in U.S. dollars, to be paid in cash in dollars or in pesos at the MEP (Mercado Electrónico de Pagos, or «dólar bolsa») exchange rate.
I am an university researcher at Universidad de Buenos Aires. I like books, astronomy and quiet places.
The location is unbeatable, both for easy access to means of transport and for the wide activity in the area (theaters, bookstores, notable bars, etc.). A few meters away you can access the main subway lines (A, B, C, D and E), the metrobus of Avenida 9 de Julio (100 m.) And most of the bus lines. It is a busy area: in the same block there is a 4-star hotel, two kiosks open 24 hours a day, a bar and two supermarkets, among other businesses.
