If this hostel was only about affordable accommodation we’d have called it Beds. But it’s not - the Beds N’ Drinks bar is the best place in Miami Beach to warm up before the party gets started! This Miami Beach hotel and hostel is 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and less than 1 mile from the nightlife of South Beach. Guests will enjoy an outdoor pool, 2 on-site bars and a restaurant.

An en suite bathroom, lockers, and a seating area with a desk are included in both dormitory-style and standard guest rooms. A cable TV is also included in standard rooms at the Freehand Miami. The 4-bed dormitory when I slept was exceptionally well designed! The lockers were spacious, the bed frame was in solid wood (no creaking noise when moving), the mattress was so comfortable and fixed (no noise when moving) and there was a cushion along the length of the bed/the wall which made it comfortable to lean against when in a seated position. It is possible to borrow a beach towel and an umbrella simply by leaving an ID card. Lots of seating spaces in the common areas (lobby and around the pool) with excellent high-speed WiFi. It is only 5 minutes walk to the beach.
