Each room at this motel is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. Cloudcroft Hostel

Cloudcroft

Located in Cloudcroft, Cloudcroft Hostel provides accommodation with private balconies. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Cloudcroft hostel is beautifully run with a lot of attention to detail. From the fresh towels and sheets on the comfortable beds and reading lamps by each bunk through the bathrooms which have body wash and moisturizing lotion to the spotless and pleasant kitchen everything there is done right to facilitate a communal experience. At the same time it was a fun space with retro album covers on the walls and good traveller conversations around the kitchen table. The location in the Sacramento mountains / Lincoln national forest east of Alamogordo is lovely (it snowed the night we were there) but it's a fair distance to the White Sands national park - about 45 minutes in a car - if that's your primary destination.
