They helped me with directions if I want to go somewhere I’m not familiar with. Also, the place is very clean including the bathrooms. Facilities were complete— toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, make up remover, sunblock, etc.) laundry and drying area, wifi on each floors and hair straightener and dryers are available. They also gave me a free cake when they found out from my passport that it was my birthday 🥰

At the hostel, all rooms include a wardrobe. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and certain units at 1954 Guest House have a balcony. At the accommodation rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. The breakfast and library were good. The bathrooms were wonderful. The room, bed with curtains Nd space around the bed with the towels and cupboard were great. Very kind staff and wonderful entrance area.

The property is non-smoking and is located 300 metres from The Red House. We stayed in the triple private room. This hostel has a wonderful location right in the heart of the city. It is cold and quiet and great for sleeping. Everyone is respectful, it is not a party hostel. The bathrooms are great.

Ideally located in the Datong District district of Taipei, Meander 1948 Hostel - Taipei Main Station is set less than 1 km from Ningxia Night Market, a 10-minute walk from Taipei Main Station and 1.3 km from Taipei Zhongshan Hall. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Certain rooms at the property feature a balcony with a city view. It's a beautifully repurposed hostel and very was well maintained/managed. Spacious dorm room with a window, individual storage cupboard and space. Very good design of the bed pod - the bed was slightly bigger(wider) than a lot of hostel single bed; there're 2 lights inside with separated switches; curtain on every pod. The beddings were proper and comfortable. There's no bad smell, not humid in the room. I think soundproof were properly done as I never heard of any big noise, even though my bed was right next to the door and it's right opposite to the bathroom. I had very good sleep during the stay. The bathrooms were clean and properly ventilated - you would not start to sweat right after the shower. The kitchen was not big but it had everything essential - a big fridge, drinking water machine for cold and hot water - IH stove, cookware, microwave, coffee machine providing free coffee! And, the staffs were very nice and helpful. One of the incidence for example : I told the staff that I'd need luggage storage on the check out day, but I needed to checkout super early which was before their service time. The staff (she showed me around the hostel when checking in) told me to keep the luggage in the room and they'd take it down for me to the storage room. When I came back to take the luggage later the day, she went to take out my luggage without mistake - there's no keeping slip, no number; she even didn't ask me what colour /size was my luggage. I only requested it once (without repeating) when checking in. She noted down and executed precisely. It is a hostel, but this kinda service was as good as a hotel.

All guest rooms in the hostel are fitted with a computer. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, some units at Corner Hostel & Cafe also have a city view. At the accommodation all rooms include air conditioning and a safety deposit box. the place and bed is so good , there is so quiet even someone going up n down. place is clean. they provide the slippers , hairdryers which is warm preparation. if you are juz a cosy traveller, this is a perfect hostel to stay. i will be back if i have chance.
