This was an exeptional stay! The whole Santa Fe is like a fairy tale place. It is not so touristy, but there is so many things to do in the area. La Qhia Eco Retreat was like a paradise for us. The whole area of the hotel is beautiful, hammocks with wonderful views, every evening they open a bar with cheap beer, the kitchen is fully equipped.
A grocery store is just around the corner as well as an ATM.
The best thing is the app they developed and you can use. You can find there all the handy tips from menu of local restaurants to the maps of hikes in the area. You can download the maps as offline maps and just follow the path. We totally loved our hike to Bermejo waterfall, but there are many other hikes as well. Thank you for this amazing job with the app!

Good vibe, very social. Location is good - right across a fruteria and supermarket, 5 minutes to the close beach and about 20 minutes to the surfing beach. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of refrigeration space. The hostel offers shuttles and fairly cheap tours to Coiba

Overall, probably the best hostel we stayed in Panama. The position is conveniently placed right next to the beach, the facilities were super clean, and the price was unbeatable! Extra points for the stuff. We left some medicine in the fridge and Orlando somehow was able to organize a friend to go to Panama Town so we could get it before our flight - we will always be grateful for what you did thanks a lot!!!
The best hostel in Santa Catalina if you want to connect with other travellers, Pablo and Rasta Man are amazing hosts and make everyone feel right at home. Close to everything on the main strip
The location and set up of the hostel was amazing. It was small with only a handful of rooms -which made me feel safe and the communal areas were never crowded. The views were amazing. To get to the beach, you simply had to walk down the hill. The hostel had surfboards you could rent for the day which was so much fun. The outside areas were clean and vibrant with lots of fun hammocks to hang out in. There was also a communal kitchen with lots of food available left by other travelers.
Best Hostel in Panama. The location is in the city center, Supermarket, frutteria and ATM next to the Hostel. Stuff is very friendly! The owner is a very nice and helpful person. For me this was the best hostel on my panama trip!

the Black Lion inn knows exactly what it is: a budget highway stopover on the way to/from Boquete. With this in mind it is great! Clean and spacious rooms. friendly staff. Place to do some work/eat. Working AC. there was a backery and mini market near by that offered all we needed. The little huts outside the hotel were a great location to eat surrounded by flowers and protected from the rain. All one can ask for!
Typical hostel for young backpackers, so typical challenges. You eat breakfast, which was buttermilk pancakes with half banana and a slice of melon or papaya depending on the day, in the lovely outside area with hammocks and lounges and happy dogs and after you wash your dishes. The only thing, it was unhygienic
