Oxford swimming pool, fitness centre and children's playground are just 100 metres away and the local library and information centre are just across the main street. Sweet, friendly, and very helpful owner. Comfortable, clean, quiet, with great kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing new hostel right next to both the bus station and the main restaurant blocks, couldn't be a better location. Very modern and comfortable, felt like a hip retreat center with the beautiful many different common areas. Controllable thermostat in each room. Highly recommend, totally worth the slightly higher price compared to a regular hostel.

The hostel has recently been renovated and you can really see the care and effort that went into it! The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable and there is a lot of storage room right under the beds. There are two fully equipped kitchens, that will take you right to a home-like dining area with a pool table. Not to forget that there are a lot of bathrooms around the building, all freshly cleaned and spacious. Oh, and if you're looking for a place close to the main attractions, you're good with Haka Hostel, which is right across the Botanical Garden and close to the shopping and dining area of Christchurch. We really loved our stay here and it made our Christmas extra special.

Clean rooms with a comfortable bed. I loved the back garden and BBQ area the Manager / Owner has developed, a very homely, relaxing and comfortable place to spend the evening and meet up with fellow travelers from around the world. The next time I am in Christchurch I shall be back to stay at this hostel and shall recommend this accommodation to others while holidaying in Christchurch.
