Oxford swimming pool, fitness centre and children's playground are just 100 metres away and the local library and information centre are just across the main street. Sweet, friendly, and very helpful owner. Comfortable, clean, quiet, with great kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend, totally worth the slightly higher price compared to a regular hostel.

Free WiFi is provided and parking is available. Very nice hostel! The sleeping pods are very private and the lounge was amazing! Very comfortable place to hang out. Amazing value for the money.

Set in a refurbished 1874 building, Jailhouse Accommodation offers an on-site café and a guest lounge with a cinema projector. It is 10 minutes’ walk from Christchurch Railway Station. Guests enjoy free parking and free WiFi in public areas. The history of the place was interesting and brought personality to the stay. The code worked well and you could move around the place very independently. It was easy to get to the destination by bus from the airport (bus 3 to Christchurch Hospital and from there bus 7 stops almost in front of the door). The hostel also has many different places to sit and work in peace. A small yard is nice! There is also quite cheap and good take away food places near by. I would definately stay again :)
