We had a short stay, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room.
Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals.
One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there.
Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

This is a hostel near the main road. HOWEVER you can’t hear any of the cars and the view from the room is absolutely breathtaking! Our room (number 5) was so cozy! It had its own bathroom, clean sheets and towels and a hair dryer. Right next to our room was a common area and next to that a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked our dinner without any issues.
Our host was lovely! Communication was fast and our book in was almost instant. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I wish it was longer.

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point.
Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised.
They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked.
It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others.
We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water.
The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

Great location for the Viking Museum (which was great). Otherwise facilities were good and met expectations. The kitchen was amazing with lots of great equipment. The other guests were very quiet and there was zero sense of community.

The Bogen Hostel is about 15 minutes drive from the airport. Has ample off road parking. The room I was in directly overlooked the shoreline and it was relaxing to hear the waves. The establishment has a well equipped kitchen and dining area. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and powerful shower. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable.
Great location with water way and boats next to accommodation, comfortable and spacious. 4 beds with Bunk beds and room with beds. Old pic of people gathering within the Rorbuer lends feeling of an earlier period. Heated bathroom flooring makes toilet visit bearable :)) Walking distance to great views.
If you value sleep, the dorm rooms will not be the best option. Very crowded dorms, sleeps 8, in 4 bunk beds. Mattress worn out, kitchen was small and untidy. Lots of people coming and going at all hours. Worst part was the sound of the trains moving in the evening (hostel shares the train station building, room windows are right by the tracks). The location is great for both Ferry and Train, and the price is reasonable, but comfort and sleep will be affected.
The hostel was at a great location to do hikes and experience nature. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. The host was really kind and funny. He showed us some secret places near the hostel which were beautiful and not on the internet.
I got off the hurtigruten ferry at 2am and this was the closest place. it’s a youth hostel. but I had a room to myself with bathroom.
I love the fact that the hostel was opened as a safe harbor for tourists and travelers. Narvik is very expensive and it was a huge relief to have a nice place to stay. Trond is a great host, he made sure we were safe and comfortable and he gave us hiking and northern lights-watching advice. The hostel has been opened recently and they are still working on developing it, therefore I am not mentioning the little details that still need solving.
This place manages to mix the atmosphere of a travellers lodge/youth hostel with the comfort of a hotel. It has nice and cozy common spaces with a big kitchen and a home cinema space. It is conveniently located just next to the Munkebu trail head, not far from A i Lofoten fishing village and Moskenes ferry quay. The staff is nice and helpful.
The owner is very friendly. He’s usually around and ready for a nice chat. It’s cheap for Norway standards. A place to stay not for long if you’re in a low budget and don’t mind a very basic accommodation.
the place i very cute, trustworthy. and the highlight of this place for us was the drying room, it is not clearly advertised but it is best hostels/houses could offer, this very needed in this region.
The size of the room is about twice as big as in other hostels or budget accomodations in the Lofoten. The hostel itself seems to be part of an old fishing village with wooden houses, so if you like that sort of thing this is the place to be for you. Try the (ridiculously) expensive cinnamon buns for 50 NOK a piece at the local bakery. They're very nice.
