The nearest airport is Leknes Airport, 64 km from the hostel. It was really clean and it had everything you would need, having all the facilities. The building had a special architecture and it looked special. The room was really interesting and the living room and the kitchen were wonderful, we loved it.

As somebody said it's even better then some hotels. Helpful staff. We arrived past check-in time and it was no problem. We could even do the laundery. It is really nice when you've been on the road for a while.

All of Bogen Hostel's rooms have fjord views, while some also include a kitchenette, TV and seating area. The view was unbelievable and the price we paid was a steal. Stayed here for a night as we had an early flight to catch the next day. The room and bathroom was very well kept and clean. They also had smart tvs and great wifi connection. Parking was ample. The roomkeeper was also pleasant to deal with.

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

The rooms of Bodø Vandrerhjem Hostel have either shared or private bathroom facilities. Bed linen and towels are included in the room rates. I liked the atmosphere inside the Hostel. The location to stay in Bodo can not be better than this. The staff was super friendly. They gave us an early check-in as we reached earlier than the expected time. We liked the kitchen as it was cleaned and all the kitchen necessities were available there. There is a Common area for dinings and have additional sofa's. So if you reach early and no rooms are available for you to ckeck-in, you may utilize that space which is so quite generally. I would highly recommend the property.

The rooms at the hostel are all located on ground floor. There are shared bathroom erea in the basement and shared kitchen/diningroom on second floor. Great location for the Viking Museum (which was great). Otherwise facilities were good and met expectations. The kitchen was amazing with lots of great equipment. The other guests were very quiet and there was zero sense of community.
