Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals. One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there. Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

On Lofoten’s rugged coastline just 400 metres from the centre of Kabelvåg fishing village, this hostel has a sauna, BBQ area, laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi. A breakfast buffet is included. Perfect place for exploring Lofoten with the best breakfast I ever had! Clean common rooms (showers, toilettes, kitchen). Kind people working there! Plenty of parking spaces in front of the house.

Overlooking the Ofotfjord, this property has a peaceful location in Bogen village. It offers simple guest rooms and free WiFi internet access. Narvik is 45 minutes’ drive away. This is a hostel near the main road. HOWEVER you can’t hear any of the cars and the view from the room is absolutely breathtaking! Our room (number 5) was so cozy! It had its own bathroom, clean sheets and towels and a hair dryer. Right next to our room was a common area and next to that a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked our dinner without any issues. Our host was lovely! Communication was fast and our book in was almost instant. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I wish it was longer.

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

Nastanitev Stetind Hostel se nahaja v mestu Narvik in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. V nastanitvi vsaka soba nudi omaro. Friendly and very helpful owner. Great location for climbing Stetind and many other nice mountains in the area.

Housed in the same building as Bodø Train Station, Bodø Vandrerhjem Hostel offers rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. On-site facilities include a shared kitchen and laundry room. I only stayed for a night, but I found the bed and shower both very comfortable. The location is also very convenient for that kind of stay, as the hostel is in the same building as the train station (and a short walk from the ferry quay).

I have been to many hostels, but this one definitely had the best facilities I have ever seen in a hostel. Also comfortable furniture.

Lofotr Overnatting provides accommodation in Bøstad. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Great location for the Viking Museum (which was great). Otherwise facilities were good and met expectations. The kitchen was amazing with lots of great equipment. The other guests were very quiet and there was zero sense of community.
