I stayed at bunk bed for 2 nights. Modern hostel with great facilities and great location. Bed was comfortable & we can use extra pillow for free. Coffee & tea, towels also free! Very recommended !
Great, cheap hostel a little outside of the center. Great for meeting new people or keeping for yourself!
Safe and cosy hostel, shared room with privacy curtains around bunk beds. Downstairs common area is really lovely and nice place to cook a simple meal, chill out and do some work. Chilo and Nico the Pomeranians were so friendly and amazingly fluffy, the owner was happy to let them come and meet us whenever we were there. Good location close to bus stops and Nijo station, would like to come stay again!
I think the best hostel I will stay in during my trip. The atmosphere was great and inviting to meet new people. The staff was super friendly and the beds were comfy as well!
This hostel offers perfect accommodations for those who are looking for foreign friendly enviroment and cheap lodgings. The staff is very helpful and everyone has great English. The hostel offers laundry services for a fee and there is a kitchen in the ground floor. Toilets are on every floor. The room was small but beds vere comfortable. We felt safe and comfy all the time. It is one bus station from Kyoto station or a 1km walk... I would definitely recommend this hostel.
Very good relatively to the price you pay, very nice and helpful staff members who speak English very well. Relatively good location. The common space is great, and you get to meet a lot of people, which - I think - is the real strong point of this hostel. You might find better options if you're really not interested in meeting new people, but, nevertheless, it's a safe choice and very good for the price you pay.
fantastic hostel! not as much party / youth vibes as other youth hostels, with a lot more people on laptops and working but they had a happy hour where they serve free beer which meant that meeting people who were solo travelling and up for a night out or to socialise were easy to find. the pods were super comfortable and spacious and the electric beds exciting, easy to use and comfy!
Piece Hotel Sanjo was the best hostel that I stayed in during my entire 2-month trip to Japan. The beds were very private and surprisingly big (I got a top bunk which has more space than the bottom bunk). Also, having stairs instead of a ladder to get to your bed was a HUGE plus. The guests were all kind and chatty, and the facilities are great! Bar downstairs also offers cheap alcohol on Friday and Saturday nights with a quiet space to debrief after a long day adventuring in Kyoto.
Cheap hostel with good basics. The showers were nice and the common room pretty comfy. Friendly staff and great location.
Awesome hostel! Great location, very clean, pods are the perfect size if you're a backpacker. Beds are super comfy and the common areas have everything you need to cook, work or just chill.
