The location in the middle of the old centre is perfect, close to everything you need. The check in went easy and the hosts were very friendly and helpful with all information about what to do and where to go. The hostel is very clean, has a very spacious bathroom, kitchen and dining tables with everything available, comfortable bed and big individual locker for all your stuff. The travelers who stayed here were also very easy going and friendly. Really recommend to stay here!

Built in 2017, the tastefully decorated Hostel Free Bird is located in the centre of Dubrovnik, about 500 meters away from the Main Bus Station and 2 km from the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Dubrovnik. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The lady at the check in was super nice and helpful. The facilities are very well made and comfortable. They organize events to socialize, there's free cereal and milk the whole day, they have a closet for free clothes, they give you a towel, and the staff is super friendly (the authentic kind of friendly), I met lots of solo travellers, I absolutely loved this place.

The host, Sasha, is very kind and attentive and makes the hostel a very social place. As a solo traveler, it was very easy to meet people from the hostel to go around and see the sights with.

Popular points of interest nearby include Onofrio's Fountain, Pile Gate and Ploce Gate. The property is non-smoking and is situated 300 metres from Buza Beach. Loved it. Quite expensive for a hostel but it was right on the Main Street of the old town, so the location was amazing. Clean and warm, comfortable beds, very nice and friendly hosts, bathroom inside the room, lockers for your bags, and the room had a kitchenette. Nothing for cooking and no fridge but it had a sink and a kettle and lots of cups, plates, mugs and cutlery so you could use that if you needed. Also had a hair dryer and aircon in the room. Double glazed windows that kept most of the noise out all night. It gets very noisy at night but was fine with the windows shut. I would definitely stay again.
