The beds are very large and comfortable (futon not springs soft but firm). Room is spacious with huge lockers. Clean and modern hostel. Kitchen well equipped. Paid staff (not volunteers running it). Extra shelf inside bed for books etc. Quiet at night. Beautiful terrace to eat outside. Nothing is missing. Walking distance to bus (10 min max) and into town 40. You can walk to beaches as well (Bellevue). Staff is really helpful and friendly. Hvala! Also balcony for each room And clothesline! Yay 😀

Common facilities include shared kitchen and a shared lounge area. Awesome place. Really clean and well maintained. Location was good and close to supermarket ( below the hostel)and restaurants and main bus station. Staff were really great ! So very helpful and informative. Special thanks to Katja ( what a lovely human being) They allowed us to leave bags in their reception/dining area bc we arrived early. Helped us with info and even let us use some masking tape for repacking of baggage. The cleaning staff were so nice as well. They have a common kitchen on the 2nd floor. Really nice. Fridge, sink, and kettle. Just wish they had more cutlery. But if you ask reception they are more than happy to help. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Awesome stay !

Lockers are provided in the dormitory rooms. Fridge, oven and toaster are just some of the facilities provided in the shared kitchen. Some dormitories and all private rooms are connected in the annex building, a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very helpful with what to do, where to go and what to eat. They were very extremely friendly with great hospitality!

Built in 2017, the tastefully decorated Hostel Free Bird is located in the centre of Dubrovnik, about 500 meters away from the Main Bus Station and 2 km from the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Dubrovnik. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. This hostel was by far the best hostel that I’ve ever stayed in! Other than there being multiple beds to a room, I felt like I was staying in a hotel! This hostel was super clean, had great facilities, was fairly priced, and the staff were super nice and accommodating. The hostel is about a 30 minute walk to old town and 5-10 minutes from the harbor that does all the boat tours. Regardless of the distance, this hostel is the place to stay in Dubrovnik!

I liked everything, the area, the room, the bed with Curtains, the shower/bathroom was clean, helpful people in the lobby, about 20 min walk to the old town,half of the way is a great view for sunsets. The restaurant Mezzanava a few blocks from the hostel has great food to good prizes and very nice staff. Close to the ferry terminal.

The property is 500 metres from Beach Šulić, and within 200 metres of the city centre. This is how a hostel should be, wouldn't change a thing. The owner was a super neat person! Greeted me as I came in and set me up with anything I needed. When you get to the hostel, it’s like you are taking a step back into medieval times. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far!

All rooms are air-conditioned with a flat-screen satellite TV and a shared bathroom. It’s like a big family at the home with great atmosphere! Also there was a great volunteer Kris ready to help!!
