It is run by solar power and has fruit and vegetable gardens on site. It features the only community kitchen in the area, and offers tours daily I loved the location of the place! Recently, most of the stuff changed and they are very friendly, helpful and concerned to make it a good place! The ladies cook great fresh food with the veggies from their garden. The views are more than breathtaking

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect you can walk to semuc and the caves in minutes. Every single staff is so friendly! The tourguide Carlos is super funny but professional at the same time. The food is good (a little more options would be nice) and the rooms are clean.

Greengos is such a beautiful hostel! Only a 10 minute walk to Semuc Champey. The hostel it’s self is beautiful, clean, social and surrounded by beautiful nature. The food is also really good. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Would recommend

The owner is very helpful and tries his best to help you with every need. The Hostel is also very comfortable. It's a little dirty but it's in the middle of a jungle so I give it a pass. The food in the restaurant is also very good and budget friendly.
Very easy but clean hostel. The staff is amazing. A local family also living in the facilities. The food is good and cheap compared to other hostels around. Do the Semuc Tour here!!! You get the best price and a day full of amazing experiences. David takes you and he is super cool, friendly and helpful.
Lovely place to stay as a base for exploring Semuc Champey. The family make you feel very safe and part of the home. Not a party place like some of the hostels, so if thats your vibe then this place isn't for you. Get David (Marys son) to take you on the full day tour of Semuc Champey, he was amazing, and the group size was much smaller than some of the other tours we saw, which was much better in my opinion.
The staff were very helpful and friendly with good English. The food is pretty good, with many prices cheaper than the town and the laundary service was very fast. Wi-Fi is excellent in the restaurant. Our room (private with shared bathroom) felt a little bare, but it was cool at night. The resort is beautiful and in a great location. It was very easy to catch local transport to Semuc Champery.
