Ideally located in the Didube district of Tbilisi City, BLUE Hostel is set 3.1 km from Medical University Metro Station, 4.1 km from Rustaveli Theatre and 4.3 km from Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre. I stayed at this property for almost three weeks. The location is perfect, surrounded by endless local bakeries, restaurants including Georgian, Turkish, Indian and street food vendors. The entire area is filled with hundreds of fruit/vegetable/meat and miscellaneous market vendors. This is what I would call an extremely local, not tourist, area of the city. The property itself is surrounded by Georgian families living in very old housing that additionaly contributes to the local feeling. A bus-stop less than five minutes away from the hostel takes you to Liberty Square in around 15 minutes and the nearby metro, a 10 minute walk from hostel, gets you to the center in ten minutes also. I am glad that I chose to stay here instead of other hostels in the center due to the local vibe. The host is extremely friendly, offering any and all assistance, free tea and coffee and other assorted goods in the fully equipped kitchen, fresh towels daily, free washing powder and free use of laundry facilities, a spacious enclosed shower enclosure with soap for hand-washing. The dorm rooms are quiet owing to the limited number of available beds at the property compared to others with electrical sockets and light next to the bed. The beds are also set up in such a way that each bed feels completely private and all of this for an unbeatable price. The hostel even has a separate room for those who like to smoke and air conditioning is available in the dorm room.

I think it was even more comfortable than my bed at home :)) I also liked the lockers in the room. There are one locker for each person and each one is big enough to accommodate your cabin size luggage and all your clothes unpacked. There are two power outlets inside each pod and it makes it easier to charge your devices without getting off your pod. By the way, the room was clean, the staff was friendly.
