Murray Library Hostel features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Anstruther. The property is around 14 km from St Andrews Bay, 15 km from St Andrews University and 37 km from Discovery Point. The property is non-smoking and is situated a few steps from Billow Ness Beach. A cosy, accommodating hostel, in an old building brimming w/personality! Excellently located. Woke up to the sound of waves slowly crashing up against the shore. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, the toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. The bed was delightfully comfortable, and the hostel itself was inviting, charming, and wonderful. Darius was friendly, prompt, and professional. My stay in Anstruther was excellent thanks to the lovely Murray Library Hostel :-)
Great location, safe, secure, stylish. Clean and everything like new and top quality. Comfy beds! Great shower!
The breakfast was the best we've had over the years and nothing was to much trouble. The hosts were excellent. Great location for areas away fromkinghorn within easy time scales. The train journey was cheap and great viewing into Edinburgh.
Darius was an excellent manager. Could not have been more friendly and helpful and always seemed to be around when we needed him. Great guy! The hostel is in a great location and we had a lovely sea view from our room. The kitchen was well equipped, spacious and very clean. We came to buy seafood and cook ourselves meals; this was very easy to do in this kitchen.
Great location to Knockhill Racing Track and for local facilities. Huge bed, large very clean rooms and cheap food an drinks. Great price, free parking and friendly staff.
Perfect location and stunning views. Very friendly helpful guy who runs the place (sorry I forgot his name). Relaxed but safe, room very comfy and bright, kitchen well equipped. Beautiful place, more of a boutique hostel, quiet and tranquil. Close to everything.
Staff were amazing food was great and even a month later I'm still thinking of that mattress in the bedroom. The Adamson Hotel was absolutely fantastic from top to bottom cleanliness was amazing staff were beyond helpful and the food at the restaurant bit was brilliant. Coming down from Inverness I'm not grudging the bar prices either since the pints were near 2 pound cheaper than at home 🤣. Will absolutely be staying here again.
This is a very nice apartment, in a great location. Two nice bedrooms with comfortable double beds, and one bedroom with a bunk bed. The facilities are good, the location in the centre of St Andrews is great. Right amongst all the shops, pubs and restaurants, and within easy walking distance of the main St Andrews golf courses. Yes the floorboards are a bit uneven and the staircase to the apartment is a bit dark but you hardly notice this and in my view the very negative earlier reviews overexaggerate these issues.
Located on high street so bang in centre of town. Room was huge in comparison to what I expected, plenty space for more than 2 people. Bed was comfy, noise was at a minimum. Bar / food area was directly below and prices were really cheap, then again it is a Wetherspoons. All in all a great budget choice, you definitely get more than your money's worth.
Check-in was very efficient. Room was very clean, spacious and Covid friendly. Tea and coffee facilities available in room. Good storage and safe for storing valuebles. Great location in St Andrews.
