Postbridge
Watersports such as white water canoeing can be enjoyed on the River Dart, which is a 5-minute walk from the hostel. Dartmoor National Park offers a host of activities including mountain biking, family cycling routes and rock climbing. Amazing location in the middle of Dartmoor. The staff were very friendly, and really went out of their way to help us get settled in. Good sized lounge and kitchen. Rooms have very comfortable beds, with clean sheets on every bed.
Ilfracombe
A 1-minute walk from Ilfracombe harbour, Ocean Backpackers is an independent Devon hostel providing private rooms and a communal kitchen and living area with Wi-Fi. This hostel is a short walk from the town centre and welcomes guests of all ages. Very clean, big kitchen, friendly stuff, nice common area, everything is organized really well
Seaton
Set in Seaton, 1.6 km from Seaton Beach, YHA Beer offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Nice and clean hostel on top of a hill, a short walk away from a beautiful seaside town. Love the town and scenery. Wouldn't mind staying there again..
Okehampton
YHA Okehampton is a converted old Victorian goods shed. Guests have use of a self-catering kitchen, free on site parking, free WIFI, TV lounge and games room with table tennis and pool tables.
During the holidays a range of adventure activities are available at the hostel, including archery, kayaking, climbing, high ropes and bike hire.

Staff were superb - always helpful, cheerful and went above and beyond when I had a query. Bed was blissfully comfy and room delightful. The bar/lounge areas are really nice - particularly for a single female traveller; it felt safe and friendly, the decor was interesting and furniture comfortable. Food excellent. Great location.
Alot bigger hotel than we thought. Great location. 4 minutes walk to the Cathedral and very central. 5 minutes walk to the Quay Great staff, super friendly. Great and and beer garden Really easy to check in and out on line. Car park is great aswell and cheap for guests ( only £5 per day )
The house is in a great location for accessing the harbour and town. It’s beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were super comfy and it’s well sound proofed between the levels.
The room was extremely clean, spacious and a lovely bathroom. Great tea and coffee facilities - even had a Nespresso. Sandy was helpful. Felt safe and secure within the building. Great location as a base for work and sightseeing.

The White Hart is an excellent hotel. Clean comfortable with all you could require. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A great location for exploring Exeter. Safe storage of a bicycle was provided and this is always appreciated. The breakfast was good in a very pleasant dining room. It is very interesting place to stay and I fully recommend it.
A great room, it also helped having no-one else in that part of the hotel as it was blessedly quiet. Great location, a decent breakfast with a lovely view. The room was great, obviously it would help if it was cheaper and I suggest having a cheap rate for a month/ week or so to encourage a full hotel. Only a suggestion.
