Watersports such as white water canoeing can be enjoyed on the River Dart, which is a 5-minute walk from the hostel. Dartmoor National Park offers a host of activities including mountain biking, family cycling routes and rock climbing. Beautiful old building with amazing character and superb value for money. Welcoming atmosphere and staff and the nature of YHA is you always end up chatting to other interesting people when in the communal eating area. Just an absolutely fantastic stay on our overnight motorcycle tour of Dartmoor. The perfect antidote to over priced, unecessary accomodation prices everywhere else. Loved it and definitely going to make a return trip in the future 😎👍
Plymouth
Popular points of interest near the hostel include Plymouth Pavilions, Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Boniface and Plymouth Hoe. The nearest airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport, 75 km from Plymouth Backpackers. Location excellent. l didn't eat breakfast, I don't eat in the morning.
Ilfracombe
A 1-minute walk from Ilfracombe harbour, Ocean Backpackers is an independent Devon hostel providing private rooms and a communal kitchen and living area with Wi-Fi. This hostel is a short walk from the town centre and welcomes guests of all ages. The double room #9 in the 2nd floor is nice, has a view and is cosy. Bathroom is very small but works. Showering temperatures are changing….but all on all super backpacker place. Would stay there again without doubt…..price is very reasonable.
Seaton
Set in Seaton, 1.6 km from Seaton Beach, YHA Beer offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Great use of kitchen and kids enjoyed the outdoor space. Family friendly
Okehampton
YHA Okehampton is a converted old Victorian goods shed. Guests have use of a self-catering kitchen, free on site parking, free WIFI, TV lounge and games room with table tennis and pool tables.

Great location overlooking the harbour. Full of character. Good central heating, plenty of hot water, bath, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer/drying rack. Brixham was lovely with great shops, takeaways and pubs. Keysafe made arrival easy. The price for the cottage was superb. Dog friendly.
Great location, clean and comfortable room. Felt very secure and safe due to keycard only access to lifts and other areas of the hotel. Bonus was the gym. Staff lovely and helpful. I expected a corporate type hotel but it actually felt welcoming. Great price and I would definitely stay again.

A good hostel with good kitchen facilities and a nice shared lounge and dining room. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have drawers by the bunk bed and basic breakfast included.
The White Hart is an excellent hotel. Clean comfortable with all you could require. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A great location for exploring Exeter. Safe storage of a bicycle was provided and this is always appreciated. The breakfast was good in a very pleasant dining room. It is very interesting place to stay and I fully recommend it.
The staff are very welcoming the hotel is very clean great location have stayed here before & will be staying again in the near future I would recommend the backpackers hostel as a great place to stay & it's affordable
