Great location, 5 mins walk to main area .... we found the Wetherspoons great for a cheap breakfast. Lots nice wee coffee shops too ....
Hotel is in a great location with great views. Plenty of parking space. Reception and check in was easy. Room was well appointed with a good coffee machine, safe and bath robes. Bed was very comfortable. Two dinning areas gave some great food options, either formal or casual. Dog was welcomed and all staff very friendly to guests and dogs alike. Leisure facilities were excellent, swimming pool and sauna/ steam room were clean and well maintained. Gym equipment was modern and clean.
Location was stunning. There were deer wandering next to the hostel. We booked last minute due to cancelled Ferry and had never stayed in a youth hostel. We were pleasantly surprised by the space in the family room we had, clean showers and toilets and a huge kitchen /dining area and lounge facilities. It is also dog friendly .
Staff are amazing, great wee place for a cheap stay.
Often stay here great location good for parking very safe with brilliant staff
Great location for our golf trip and then great for nightime food and drinks in easy walking distance or one night we took the train into Glasgow from the station 300m away. Plenty of room to dry out our rain sodden clubs after a days golf in heavy rain! Easy access on arrival using the key safes.
It was supposed to be a couple holiday but my other half was unwell. I thought the accommodation was clean, well stocked and great location for the west coast. I felt safe and comfortable.
Great location, with easy walking distance of the rest of the town. Great views over the sea and Goat Fell. Perfect accommodation for our walking party of 9. We had 3 flats (#2, #5 & #6), with twin beds, bunk beds and a double. There's also a drying room and laundry facilities for wet and dirty gear. Good value for money.
