We could let our bag in a locker room and take a shower after coming back from our excursion even though we had already checked out. Really great place!

Staff was super friendly, bungalow was exactly what we needed with the mini fridge, surfboards readily available and a simple little breakfast each morning. Couldn’t recommend it more! 🥰

Everything! Mambo Ecohostal is a perfect place to chose when staying in San Lorenzo. Great hosts, good vibes, delicious croissants and pain du chocolate 😏, clean and peaceful. Totally recommend!

Amazing place, so chill, great pool, one of the best kitchens I have seen in a hostel, and also good beds. Angel was also so friendly.
Great space, reasonably clean, with an amazing view of the sea. Apartment is large with a very nice kitchen and bathroom. Wi-Fi, hot water, AC all worked well. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Reception staff was helpful and kind. Great location in the middle of the beautiful tourist beach area. Ayampe is a quiet village and the streets roll up at 8 most nights. Not a very social town but it is clean and gorgeous! Found some great restaurants including Los Orishas and Mali.
Very nice place, beautiful spacious rooms, nice staff speaking English, parking on site, breakfast on beautiful terrace, everything was good! If you go out in the evening there are nice bars and restaurants not too far away, seem to be quite safe on sea side, in general nice town.
Owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me the very best room available. I felt like the hostels was very safe. Located in a central location to beach, mall, markets. Easy walk to most attractions in Manta. The owners also spoke English, which for me was very helpful.
This is a very nice hostel, friendly owners and a great location close to the beach. The place is kept very clean, there is a small kitchen which you are free to use and they provide mosquito nets which is great.
Great location, friendly owner Angel, very nice hot showers, chill out pool and hammocks to relax in, filtered water available. Cheap stay in a tent.
Cheap, breakfast above expectations, location is fine if you don't mind not being on the beach. Mostly just a good value, basic hostel. WiFi worked.
The hostel has overall very pleasant atmosphere, the owners and staff are welcoming and helpful, there is a lovely garden inhabited by local wildlife. This time I was in probably the cheapest room, still great but downside- no hammock. The hotels location is great, away from the bustle and blaring seaside bars of the busy part of the town, still just 10 minute walk. The beach at that end of town is also cleaner.
It really is one of the best hostels in Ecuador. From comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, proximity to shops and transport, to exceptionally helpful owner who tends to guest's every need and his wonderful family - everything was top level of hospitality. I thought I'd stay for a couple of days but ended up staying over one month. Highly recommended.
