Had a,shower even after the check out since I had a evening flight. All in all I highly recommend this place if you are coming from bullt train to Hangzhou

Ideally situated in the centre of Shaoxing, Shaoxing Laotaimen Luxun Native Place Youth Hostel features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 200 metres of Former Residence of Lu Xun. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. The hostel is a lovely traditional courtyard building with carved wooden screens and windows and well tended gardens in the courtyards. My room was lovely, with it's spiral staircase and the cedar tub that perfumed the whole room. The furniture was old, but serviceable, with lots of pretty antique cabinets. The staff were helpful and the innkeeper spoke some English and helped me figure out how to get where I wanted to be. She's also a great cook. The 2 dinners she made me were well-priced and delicious. I was the only guest in the restaurant, and she played a movie for me. The location is great, close to the subway and right in the historic area. Don't expect modern luxury, but do expect charm in a delightful setting. I'll definitely be back.
