LETE Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Xining. The property is around 1.8 km from Dongguan Grand Mosque, 3.4 km from Pu Ning Zhizhu Multifunctional Tower and 3.4 km from Qinghai Science and Technology Museum. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. This place is awesome! It's up on the 15th floor of an apartment building, which I thought might be kind of problematic to locate, but it really wasn't. We got in at almost midnight, and the lady at the desk was very patient and kind getting us settled. They helped us find a hospital to get a quick NAT test (thanks, COVID travel regulations!) and answered all our questions helpfully. The layout is quirky and fun, and I could see how it would be really fun to travel with a bunch of friends there -- lots of common space. Internet was excellent.
The staff were very kind and helped me when I was unwell. Even though we didn’t share the same language it was possible to communicate using translation tools. Thank you for your invaluable assistance! Great location for local museums.
I never really liked the hostel experience, but the hotel I was at suddenly got overbooked and I was forced to find something last minute - this one also provided separate rooms with private bathrooms, so I gave it a go. I will definitely stay at LETE again next time I’m in Xining! The staff was lovely and helpful, it the whole place had a very cosy, homey feel. The room was spacious and comfortable, great value for money, it also included all the basic amenities. Would heartily recommend to anyone looking to stay in Xining, budget or not.
