I would say it matches the name of budget hotel. we didn't expect much as needed the hotel to overnight.
I’ve stayed in IBIS Budget in Geneva on a few occasions and this one in Pratteln is about the same standard. You get what you pay for, which is fully OK for what we needed: a good nights sleep in a clean small standard room with a shower on our way to a sports tournament. We arrived after 9pm and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Parking available downstairs.

Location was okay. Given the swiss transport system it takes a lot to travel to and fro from Basel but there are a lot of pretty things to even see around Fullinsdorf especially if you take a bike along. The host was friendly, accomodating, let me choose my room in the hostel. The facilities are all bare minimum and suffices a solo traveller
clean and cozy, same room as the one at Ibis Budget in Basel city center but half the prize, much cleaner and the window in the room actually opens! (in Basel it won’t).
