They are really welcoming and communicative. If you have any questions the hosts are there for you and it feels a bit like home. I was very happy with the hygiene even in the shared bathrooms. The location is super central to all the beautiful museums and the bazar… Special plus point is the beautiful wooden parquett floor.

Hostel had such a great atmosphere, the terrace is super cozy and staff very welcoming, you can easily meet there new people but also sleep well. I really enjoyed my staying.
This is the best hostel I have ever been. Clean, nice land owners, they are extremely helpful. Close to center and WiFi is good. Hot water, room is big and cosy and terrace is beautiful to enjoy the evenings.

Located just a short walk from the centre, this is a good place to stay if you are travelling on a budget and just want a short stay in Sarajevo. Staff are friendly and helpful and kindly let me check in a bit early. The breakfast was buffet style with good coffee. There is also a restaurant next to petrol station that offers drinks and cheap meals and good service. The hotel is also well located if you want to walk to the Goat's Bridge.

Everything was great. Especially the price was super cheap and the facilities were excellent. Got locker, got TV, got AC, got towel and the beds were not the bunk beds, they're all single bed. So you won't easily get disturb while sleeping. The toilet and bathroom are inside the room. It feels like a hotel instead of hostel. And miss Amra the receptionist was also very helpful and can speak english very well. And the location was not that far from the old town and other important city attractions.
The best hostel I have ever stayed. Super sociable hostel, the garden and bar are perfect places for meeting people. In the middle of the centre, beds were super comfortable and Ivan is the best hostel owner ever!!! 11/10 for sure
Hostel Balkan An is an awesome place to meet new travellers. The staff is exceptional and kind and they offer cheap beer at their own bar. The bathroom is kept clean during the day and the garden is pretty cool (but just too cold during fall and winter). I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to meet new people!
