The standard was higher, than in many 3* hotels. I highly recommend that hostel.

We selected this place as our base to explore Salzburg, Attersee & surroundings. We stayed with family and seen many families there. Value for money and strongly recommended

Super friendly and helpful staff, both it reception and assisting in the breakfast hall.
Brilliant location for catching bus to Hallstatt and very convenient access to the cable cars up Dochstein.
Innere Stadt, Linz
Situated in Linz and with Casino Linz reachable within 400 metres, Hostel Linzer City features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. The property is close to several well-known attractions, 1.3 km from Lentos Art Museum, 1.7 km from Brucknerhaus and 2 km from Linz Stadium. Each room is fitted with a terrace. Turkish woman was a great help. Even got me a cup of tea as I was waiting to head off to catch the Flix bus. Hostel section only 2 weeks since it opened

The Jutel Hinterstoder enjoys a quiet location at the banks of the Steyr river in the centre of the village. The Hössbahn lift of the Hinterstoder ski area is just a 10-minute walk away. All rooms have a private bathroom. Hotel is in location with beautiful view on the mountains. Lot's of free time activities in the hotel.
Froschberg, Linz

The price was the cheapest in the area because the area is just expensive. 5 mins walk to the train station and 10 mins walk to the boat and lakeside, great location. Room as advertised in the pictures. The scenery was very beautiful and the room was basic.
It is a very clean and properly maintained youth hostel, that provides the bare necessities and excellent breakfast. I found it suitable for a group of people who travel and need a one night stop on the way.
The room was very quiet/very good isolated. I haven't expected that in the youth hostel and we've been positevely surprised. The room was also bigger than expected. Shower and WC were separately. The breakfast was good for this price. Nothing warm (no eggs, crêpes, etc.), but rich enough to start a day.

It was claimed to be a 3 star hotel, but to my opinion it is less- more like an ungraded youth hostel. But for 1 night it was good enough.
