I cannot recommend this hostel enough! Just book it, you won’t regret it. The owner is a very experienced mountaineer and gave all of us a briefing on the hike to Theth that we would be doing the next morning. He also brought us to a restaurant in his pick up truck and all the guests got to have dinner together which was great to make friends. There is a fire at night and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great and for $5 you can pack food for your lunch as well. Most importantly, the hostel can provide transportation to the start of the trail to Theth if you want ($30 all the way or $15 to the gravel river bed) that you can split with everyone else (it’s a bus so we split between 10 people in late September).

We really enjoyed the tranquility and the adventure in mountain was definitely a very nice experience.

Great location for the area’s hikes, it’s a calm and sweet home. I was welcomed with warmth and kindness. The breakfast was local and fresh. It’s family owned guesthouse so I would recommend it over a hotel.
Super friendly staff that were communicative and polite. Great location with stunning surroundings. All in all, I had a great stay and would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Great host, went above and beyond to help us plan our hikes and provided breakfast and packed lunch for a small fee. Would definitely recommend if doing the Valbone to Theth hike on a budget.
Great location with option to dine in the garden with superb views of the surrounding mountains. Delicious home cooked meals with most ingredients coming from the own, attached farm - dinner is a set menu. Its 3km outside town, thus much more quiet, allowing to relax after your hikes while enjoying the scenery. Hosts are super friendly and helpful.
The best hostel I have been to, the owners where super nice and welcoming. The breakfast food was amazing and they even have their own honey. Also a view like you have never seen (mountains all around)
