Great location for the centre of salem. Very friendly and welcoming staff, who are more than happy to share their knowledge of the local area. The hotel has a grand lobby and the rooms have everything you need and are comfortable and clean. The hotel is aged In places which is understandable due to the history of the building. We didn't have breakfast but it is an option.

The mattress was very comfortable and the window was able to open slightly which allowed a nice cool breeze.

Great location, walking distance to everything in Salem. Reception area is lovely, decorated with pumpkins. There was free tea / coffee in reception on a morning and apple cider in the afternoon which was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable. Considering it was peak season the hotel wasn't noisy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was clean, in a great location and had great character as well as parking.
