Great staff, 8 minute to beach. Seven min walk to bus route 101 to get to Oceanside transit center and catch Surfliner. Going south on the 101 will get you to La Jolla. Nice area. No homeless. Safe to come back at night.

Great location and accommodations in Carlsbad, California! Located just in front of the beach - you can experience the dolphins and pelicans first hand!
We enjoyed a lot the apartment - bonus points for the kitchen and washing machine!
Great Location, wonderful hosts and very comfortable and clean facilities. Hosts provided a choice of breakfast with fresh fruit every morning and a chocolate by the bed.
Free breakfast was great with big selection. Laundry room to do some washing was handy. Big sized spacious room with 2 bathrooms and separate bunk beds for the kids was great.
