All in all a quiet and peaceful place to have a wonderful time.

Pom and her family are wonderful hosts! I tremendously enjoyed the rural culture experience. The accommodations are very adequate and pleasant, so neat to see the island lifestyle. There is a kitten that will come say hello to you. I wish I had more time to spend and look forward to coming back!

The host was really nice and helpful. She gave us all the information we needed even before we could ask for it and would call a taxi and tours whenever we needed. The place was spotless and the room very big. The only thing I'd add to the room would be bedside tables. We were asked whether we wanted a western breakfast (eggs w/ sth else) or a traditional Thai breakfast. Whe chose the latter and were not disappointed. Koh yao not is not very big but I feel this was very well located since it was close to the only 7eleven on the island and restaurants. Would recommend and definetly come back.

The hostel is very close to the pier so you can walk there. At the hostel you can rent a motorbike and the next 7 eleven is very close. The host was the sweetest person ever! He was very helpful and respectful at all times and even took me to the pier with his own bike. Thank you so much!

The Host was the nicest. He offered to pick us up and bring us back to the pier. We could also book private boat tours and kayak tours at a cheaper price than anywhere else on the island. They have a scooter rental and he even teached me how to drive the scooter. On top of that he accompanied my first drive to the beach, just to be safe. You can also do your laundry there. The bungalow is so nice and really clean with a beautiful view to the green garden. It was really nice sitting outside enjoying the nature.

Best hostel I've ever had! The beds are super big and comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious. The owner is a gem, she can arrange motorcycles for you at the pier and even brought me when I departed. Super cute kittens everywhere :) also very social, easy to meet your dorm mates.

This hostel is in a really great location, close to the pier and the best beach on the island. Koh Yao Yai currently very quiet and the hostel had just one other person staying in it whilst I was there but I have a great time regardless and it’s really lovely to explore the island without many tourists. If you’re travelling alone and arrive at Klong Hia Pier don’t pay 300 for the taxi - ask them to take you on a motorbike instead and it only costs 100 baht.

We loved the host, Mart. He was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. He let us rent his bikes for a very cheap price of 200 baht a day. The bikes are in exceptional condition. The rooms were very clean and in a great location in the North of the island. Mart gave us many great ideas to spend our time on the island and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend staying with Mart in Koh Yao Yai as he will make sure you have a good time while staying with him!
