This accommodation has a peaceful location on the island of Grinda in the Stockholm archipelago, only 30 minutes by ferry from Waxholm. Grinda Stugby & Sea Lodge consists of a cabin village and Sea Lodge is a boarding house with board and lodging.

We love Grinda! We are coming back 1-2 times per year. Cottages are lovely, quite clean and you have everything you need for cooking. No running water and you need to take your own sleeping bags/bedsheets but hey, that's what it is about :) Nice walks in the forest/seaside, calm and beautiful views.

At the hostel, rooms have a wardrobe. At STF Lillsved, each room comes with a private bathroom with a shower.

Army Museum is 43 km from the hostel, while Stureplan is 43 km away. The nearest airport is Bromma Stockholm Airport, 53 km from STF Lillsved.

What an excellent place to visit over midsommar weekend or any summer week. The grounds are fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are a litte cozy but this is a dorm, after all. Perfect hostel experience.

This hostel is on Svartsö island in the Stockholm Archipelago. All rooms include a private entrance, furnished patio and a seating area. Svartsö Norra Ferry Terminal is a 2-minute walk away. Alsvik is 4 km where and here you can find a restaurant and grocery store.

Adorable property. The ability to use a kitchen was wonderful. The woman running the front desk was very helpful in making sure we enjoyed our island stay.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
