The location of the room was excellent - within walking distance to a wealth of interesting places, like the old town, the fabulous park near the arena, the canal, some great pubs, the cathedral and plaza with outdoor cafes. We could also walk to the train station. It was a very affordable place to stay while exploring Cluj-Napoca. I lucked out in finding this lodging. It is within a few hundred meters of the Cluj's Botanical Garden. It is also only a few blocks ...downhill and then level... from the city's main square. I couldn't have asked for a better location! I happened to arrive at a time when the owner/manager had arrived so we were able to arrange everything quickly. I thought the common bathroom was clean and the property was well-lit at night, both inside and outside. I also think the neighborhood was safe.
