The bunk bed and room is spacious and complete with the necessities (outlet, light, towel, clean sheets and pillow). Each room also has 2 bathroom which is really nice, clean and well maintained. There is also someone who cleans the room everyday. Staff are so helpful and accommodating.
Location is super, 5 min walk away from the beach (surf spot) and near restaurants. Room is secured, has a unique number passcode that only guests know.
I like their very spacious common area upstairs where you can workout, work, just chill. There's also a common kitchen for everyone's use which is really nice to use. There's also a front yard for sunbathing or doing outdoor workouts (yoga too)

Amazing people. Everybody very helpful and respectful. Close to the center, but far enough away to have good rest during the night. Scooter is not necessary but makes it easier. Can be rented in hostel. Amazing family dinner twice a week, where you socialise easy with hosts and guests.

Sinag felt like home from the moment I arrived. Suzie, one of the owners, and Chris, the manager, made sure everything ran smoothly, and the staff—especially Evelyn and Nancy—were incredibly warm and welcoming. As an introverted solo traveler, I didn’t expect to make friends, but Sinag is built for community. I connected with so many amazing people, which made my stay even more special. Their friendly dogs and cats made the hostel feel even more familiar and cozy. The laid-back vibe, scheduled activities (Wednesday family dinners were the best!), and great location are perfect for surfers and travelers alike. Plus, the Starlink Wi-Fi was a game changer, keeping me connected even in this remote paradise. This is definitely my new home when visiting Siargao!

Great location, newer build. We stayed in two of their rooms over 3 nights. A very small room with air conditioning and the quad room. We preferred to quad room with more storage and hanging space. We utelized the basic cooking facilities and were able to pay to use the laundry there as well. It’s just across the road from Pacifico and close to eateries which we liked.
I've been Katrefied. Self check-in is superb and very easy to do. Bunk bed is super comfortable will lull you to sleep fast.
Very near the beach. Katre is home away from home.
Probably the best hostel i ve ever stayed. Super social, but not in a party way. The best top bunks i ve seen. Amazing kitchen and public area. Just the best. The receptionist is super kind and the vibe of this hostel is just perfect
This hostel is amazing ! Super chill and social , perfect place to escape from the craziness of general luna , I loved my stay here so much. Right across the road from the beach and walking distance to surf spots , handy to have a scooter up here though. Beds are big and private and all the staff are lovely
I think it is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Inside each shared room there were two bathrooms that were always clean. The beds are very comfortable and the common areas are super nice. Joyce, the girl at the front desk, is wonderful! I would definitely come back.
