Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very good, filling breakfast. Nice bed and bathroom. Very conveniently located. Señor at the front desk was very nice. Overall great stay, and definitely better bang for your buck than the hostel next door. And they let us bring our cat!

Pachamama is really an awesome place to begin your hike to the Colca Canyon! The staff is really welcoming and will provide you with all the information you need for the trekking. Plus they bake the best bread and you can order sandwiches for the hike that are delicious. The hostel is super cosy and really homy. Would go back any time!

Cosy rooms, some with balconies, good breakfast, they keep your bag in a storage room during the trek, cheap compared to other options.

Our host Manfred was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very spacious for this price category. The bathroom was the best we have had so far in Peru. Breakfast was also very good. We were able to leave our luggage in the hostel while we were hiking in the canyon and when we got back, Manfred even offered us tea. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, great pool, big portions of food, hot showers, wifi, snacks and drinks. We walked round the other hostels in the valley and this was by far the nicest. Cocktails and food is reasonably priced.

Manfred was a great host. He was very open and helpful during our stay and always in for a small talk. The stay was very good and will be even better in the future as Manfred is expanding the hostel with, among other things, a beautiful rooftop restaurant. When we will go back to Peru we will definitely visit this place again!

very clean, very luxurious for a hostel, nice bathroom, no electricity in the shower as you see it often in peru, breakfast was amazing, very friendly and helpful stuff, also do lunch and dinner for each 17 soles, we arrived late and they brought us after check-in tea and coffee to the room for free, hot showers, it is cold outside but not in the room and also you get enough blankets, breakfast is possible also very early which is good for hikes.
